Since then aloof I stand..

You took my hand in yours
opening my heart's doors
we sneaked past and slipped out
from that noisy, rowdy crowd
reaching a place that was distant and sound
in your arms i felt safe and bound.
We moved in a rythm so slow
me feet touching your toes
In each other we locked our arms
suddenly everything was cozy and warm
I followed as you took the lead,
whatever you said, to that i paid heed
As our favourite song begin to play
our feet moved in the soft clay
We were dancing so close to each other
my mind weaved a future for us to be together
We danced and danced till the dusk
surrounded by the aroma of roses and musk
With a genttle push we fell apart
I shivered a bit, with a thumping heart
the feelings in my heart again swore
but you took my hand again in your's
Then you rolled me out again and left my hand
You walked away and since then Aloof I stand..!!!
